🌿 Why?

Lawn maintenance requires just that . . . maintenance. Just like us, your lawn will respond to whatever you put into it. Can you imagine only drinking water but never eating? Yep! Your lawn can get hangry, too! But, that can all be eliminated with a regular feeding and weed-eliminating schedule.

🌿 When Is The Best Time To Apply?
Something else very important . . . not every lawn is the same! TURFKLIPS lawn feeding and weed-eliminating schedules are based solely upon your lawn and its specific needs. Applications occur several times throughout the year. As your lawn changes with the seasons, the elements and their amounts added to your lawn will change, too.
🌿 What Kind Of Products Are Right For My Lawn?
The choices of fertilizers and weed control can be overwhelming but, TURFKLIPS can make certain the perfect product for your lawn's needs is being used. We'll analyze and discuss your lawns needs and even take a soil sample FREE of charge, if so desired. We firmly believe in adding to your lawn what it needs, not just what's available.
🌿 What Kind Of Weed Does Turf Klips Treat?
Broadleaf – These kinds of weeds usually include larger, single-vein leaves with a flower or cluster of flowers. Some of the most common broadleaf weeds are clover, dandelion, thistle and gripeweed.

Our Six Step Lawn Health Program

🌿 Visit 1 : In late winter / early spring we apply a pre-emergent weed control which will help in preventing certain broadleaf weeds and crabgrass seeds from starting to germinate and make their little homes in your turf.

🌿 Visit 2 : In early spring, we apply a granular quick-release fertilizer, to spring your lawn into action and getting its GREEN on.

🌿 Visit 3 : In late spring, we'll spot treat with post-emergent weed control as needed to keep the pesky, vigorous boogers at bay. Soluable iron is also applied to help the lawn keep its color along with applying a slow-release fertilizer that continues to feed the lawn.

🌿 Visit 4 : In early summer, we apply a granular lawn food that slowly releases essential nutrients to help the turf grow deeper roots and prepare for the heat of summer. We continue to spot treat for weeds as necessary.

🌿 Visit 5 : In late summer, we apply another pre-emergent and broadleaf weed control for winter weeds. Soluable iron is added in this visit too, to help maintain the lawns’ color through fall.

🌿 Visit 6 : In late fall or early winter we apply a granular lawn food to help the turf focus on root development. This again helps the lawn to store nutrients, energy and to survive the winter. We spot treat any broadleaf weeds as necessary.
